    En este artículo tratamos de establecer la relación entre lo que se ha llamado “el velo de Isis” y la infigurabilidad. Tomamos conceptos como majestuosidad, tremendo o sublime como punto de partida para reflexionar sobre esta relación, acercando las esferas de lo sagrado y de lo sublime, del sentimiento religioso y del sentimiento estético. Con ello, ponemos el punto de mira en aquello que oculta el velo y la propia figura de Isis. Según nuestra reflexión, lo que figuran es lo infigurable, configurándose como el límite entre lo profano y lo sagrado.

    In this article we try to establish the relation between what has been called "the veil of Isis" and the non-figurability. We propound the concepts such as majesty, amazement or the sublime as a starting point to reflect on this relation, bringing the spheres of the sacred and the sublime, the religious feeling and the aesthetic feeling closer. Considering this, we focus our attention on what the veil and Isis's figure hide. According to our reflection, both figures show the non-figurability, configuring “the veil of Isis” as the limit between the profane and the sacred.
