  Este documento presenta un breve recuento y un análisis de los diferentes actores que conforman y delinean el papel que debe jugar el docente en la Educación Básica, a partir de las reformas que en materia educativa se gestaron en las últimas décadas del siglo XX, con el objetivo de atender la calidad educativa que demanda el siglo XXI.

  This document presents a brief account and analysis of the different educators that outlined and shaped the elementary school teacher’s role in basic education at the time of the first education reforms during the last decades of the 20th century, reforms which intended to adapt education to the demands of the 21st century.
