    El estudio de los tres volúmenes de El Peso de la Paja permite demostrar la manera con la que Terenci Moix logra crear una nueva imagen de sí mismo. Más que de una autobiografía, podemos hablar de “egobiografía” cuya escritura se utiliza como reparación de los dolores que se manifiestan en el imaginario. Moix utiliza este yo ideal en su escritura y hace todo lo que está en su poder para no respetar los códigos e identificarse con una estatua de signos que tiene que asegurar su triunfo narcísico. Este estudio se pregunta ¿dónde termina la autobiografía y dónde empieza la antología? Esta pregunta remite a la coherencia del sistema de pensamiento moixiano. La personalidad de Moix, autodidacta, podría hacernos pensar en una dispersión de la imagen mediática que quiso y que trabajó el autor en varios programas televisivos. La auto mitificación, que es la tesis que sostiene este estudio, está presente en todas las obras de Moix. Toda su producción viene sostenida por un imaginario cuya clave de sol es la idealización, el sueño de un mundo mítico. Las memorias moixianas se pueden definir como una caja de resonancia que amplifican los movimientos del alma humana que encuentran su expresión en la escritura de un imaginario personal.

    The study of the three volumes of El Peso de la Paja demonstrates the way in which Terenci Moix manages to create a new image of himself. More than an autobiography, we can speak of «egobiography» whose writing is used to repair the pain that manifests itself in the imagination. Moix uses this ideal self in his writing and does everything in his power not to respect the codes and to identify himself with a statue of signs that has to ensure his narcissistic triumph. This study asks where does the autobiography end and where does the anthology begin? This question refers to the coherence of the Moixiano thought system. Moix’s personality, self-taught, could make us think of a dispersion of the media image that the author wanted and that he worked on in various television programs. The self-mythification that is the thesis that supports this study, is present in all of Moix’s works. All his production is sustained by an imaginary whose treble clef is idealization, the dream of a mythical world. Moixian memories can be defined as a sounding board that amplifies the movements of the human soul that find their expression in the writing of a personal imaginary
