    Este artículo está escrito en modo de Antropología Poética & busca entregar atmósferas & evocaciones acerca del estilo de vida de los cazadores de nutrias o “gatos” en Patagonia Occidental Insular, preferentemente durante el transcurso de la segunda mitad del Siglo XX. No tiene otro horizonte no sea el describir los recuerdos de los cazadores respecto de su trabajo & su relación con la naturaleza, como fondo de escenario.  Es simplemente un descriptor, un encadenamiento de “recortes” o fragmentos discursivos de antiguos cazadores que todavía habitan Puerto Aguirre, Estero Copa & Caleta Andrade en isla Huichas.  Es una trama de recuerdos & es importante conocerlos porque durante muchos años han permanecido invisibles a las miradas de los Antropólogos/Etnógrafos. Son unos Otros silenciosos, ocultos en las mareas no sólo del tiempo cósmico, sino también de las aguas de la Historia. A través de la poética, este artículo es un profundo gesto de reparación.

    This article is written in a poetic anthropology mode & seeks to deliver atmospheres & evocations about the lifestyle of otter hunters or "cats" in Insular Western Patagonia, preferably during the second half of the 20th century. It has no other horizon other than describing the memories of hunters regarding their work & their relationship with nature, as a backdrop. It is simply a descriptor, a chain of "clippings" or discursive fragments of former hunters who still inhabit Puerto Aguirre, Estero Copa & Caleta Andrade on Huichas Island. It is a web of memories & it is important to know them because for many years they have remained invisible to the eyes of Anthropologists/Ethnographers. They are silent Others, hidden in the tides not only of cosmic time, but also of the waters of History. Through poetics, this article is a profound gesture of repair.
