Resumen de Cuidados formales y mujeres rurales en Andalucía: una aproximación a su realidad sociolaboral desde una perspectiva de género

  En las zonas rurales de Andalucía la participación de la mujer que trabaja en el ámbito de los cuidados formales es poco valorada. Es importante el conocimiento de esta realidad con la finalidad de visibilizarlas y avanzar en materia de consecución de derechos para conseguir su inclusión sociolaboral y empoderamiento. En este estudio presentamos los resultados de una investigación cuyo objetivo fue analizar cuatro cuestiones claves como referente claro de integración sociolaboral de mujeres rurales cuidadoras en Andalucía: (I) ¿en qué trabajan y en qué condiciones?, (II) ¿por qué quieren trabajar?, (III) ¿qué tipo de actuaciones acrecientan la inserción sociolaboral en el ámbito rural?  (IV) ¿cuáles son los efectos derivados del COVID en su inserción laboral? Para ello, hemos utilizado la metodología cualitativa, a través de la técnica de la entrevista en profundidad. Los resultados muestran la necesidad de poner en marcha estrategias que favorezcan su inclusión sociolaboral donde queden erradicadas situaciones de explotación laboral. Estas actuaciones han de ser adaptadas a sus verdaderas necesidades y basadas en el liderazgo y empoderamiento de las mujeres rurales que realizan su labor profesional en el ámbito de los cuidados formales en Andalucía.

  In rural areas of Andalusia, the participation of women working in the field of formal care is undervalued. It is important to be aware of this reality in order to make them visible and to make progress in terms of achieving rights in order to achieve their socio-labour inclusion and empowerment. In this study we present the results of an investigation whose objective was to analyse four key questions as a clear reference for the socio-labour integration of rural women carers in Andalusia: (I) what do they work in and under what conditions, (II) why do they want to work, (III) what type of actions increase socio-labour integration in rural areas, (IV) what are the effects derived from COVID on their labour integration, (IV) what are the effects of COVID on their labour integration, and (V) what is the impact of COVID on their labour integration? For this purpose, we have used qualitative methodology, through the in-depth interview technique. The results show the need to implement strategies that favour their socio-occupational inclusion where situations of labour exploitation are eradicated. These actions must be adapted to their real needs and based on the leadership and empowerment of rural women who carry out their professional work in the field of formal care in Andalusia.
