El presente estudio tiene como objetivo acercarse a la figura de María Tudor a través de sus joyas. Para ello se ha recurrido al inventario alhajas de 1542-1546, donde aparecen multitud de objetos preciosos. Sin embargo, el propósito central de esta investigación es observar qué joyas tienen relación con sus padres, Enrique VIII y Catalina de Aragón. Sus alhajas son un reflejo de la educación que recibió de sus progenitores, quienes se encargaron de educar a su hija en el lujo con el fin de que en el futuro pudiese subrayar su imagen mediante el fasto que le proporcionaban las joyas.

The main aim of this study is to approach the figure of Mary Tudor through her jewels. To this end, we have used the jewellery inventory of 1542-1546, which contains a multitude of precious objects. However, the main purpose of this research is to observe which jewels are related to her parents, Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon. Her jewellery is a reflection of the education she received from her parents, who took care to educate their daughter in luxury so that in the future she would be able to emphasise her image through the luxury of jewellery.
