Resumen de Ficción, contexto y verdad: una discusión contemporánea
En el siguiente artículo se discute el concepto de ficción desde las perspectivas planteadas por Gregory Currie' en The Nature o f Fiction-, y la expuesta por Hans Vaihinger en The Philosophy o/As-If. Se pretende diferenciar a la ficción literaria, de la ficción epistemológica. Al hacerlo se llega a relacionar la última con la hermenéutica contemporánea, en tanto teoría de la explicación. Se considerará la naturaleza de la ficción en la medida que se relaciona con el lenguaje que la expresa, su mundo referencial propio y la relación entre autores y lectores. También se expondrá la teoría de la intención vista como un acto particular del hacer como si se creey el modo de reconocer la intención ficcional del autor; por último, se hará referencia a la comunicación ficcional y su distinción respecto de los actos comunicativos comunes. Con esta discusión se quiere establecer que la ficción no se relaciona con la mentira ni con la falsedad, debido a que es un constructo racional provisorio del entendimiento.AbstractThe perspectives outlined in The Nature o f Fiction by Gregory Currie and the one exposed by Hans Vaihinger in The Philosophy ofA s-If will confront ttwo views of the concept of ‘fiction’. The following paper will take into account contemporary hermeneutics as theory of explanation to differentiate literary fiction and epistemological fiction. Also associated with its expression language, its own referential world and the relationship among authors and readers it will examine the nature of fiction. Besides, it will expose the theory of intention regard as a particular act of the pretend to believe and the way to recognize the fictional intention of the author. Finally it will refer to the fictional communication and its distinction respect to the common communicative acts. The aim of this argument is to determined that the fiction is either relate to lie, or to falsehood: since it is a temporary rational device of understanding.
