Resumen de Tutoría a maestros principiantes y mejora sostenible de las prácticas docentes

Este artículo tiene por propósito contribuir a la reflexión acerca de la relación entre la tutoría o mentoría a docentes principiantes y la mejora de sus prácticas docentes. Para ello, aborda qué se entiende por mejora educativa, cómo se evidencia y de qué modo se puede fortalecer para que sea sostenible en el tiempo e institucionalmente, considerando el núcleo pedagógico de la docencia propuesto por Elmore y las habilidades requeridas para el futuro. Todo ello en el marco de un saber práctico-reflexivo como base de la tutoría. Finalmente, se tratan elementos de una docencia basada en la colegialidad y el aprendizaje mutuo que contribuyen a tal mejora.

The purpose of this article is to contribute to reflection on the relationship between tutoring or mentoring of beginning teachers and the improvement of their teaching practices. To do this, it addresses what is meant by educational improvement, how it is evidenced and how it can be strengthened so that it is sustainable over time and institutionally, considering the pedagogical core of teaching proposed by Elmore and the skills required for the future. All this within the framework of a practical-reflexive knowledge as the basis of the tutorial. Finally, elements of a teaching based on collegiality and mutual learning that contribute to such improvement are discussed.
