This article shows some aspects of the history of the German Welfare State began in the summer of 1880 when Bismarck, the mighty German Reichskanzler, initiated a new state policy in advantage of the working class. Ten years later the comer stones of a security system had been laid that began to rebuild the national State into a social State.
