Resumen de Teatre Principal d’Inca, un estat de la qüestió

El Teatre Principal d’Inca és sense cap dubte la institució de caràcter cultural més important i destacada que té i ha tengut el municipi. Malgrat aquesta importància cabdal i comptar amb una història de més de 107 anys, res d’això ha contribuït a generar un estudi monogràfic sobre el dit Teatre. El Teatre no ha estat un tema d’estudi especialment afavorit per la historiografia, així ens trobam que la informació que ha generat ha aparegut de manera tardana i molt desigual. A més, aquesta no es troba recollida en una obra monogràfica o de referència, sinó que totes les referències fetes es troben disperses en diferents treballs més específics o bé a obres de caràcter més general. Amb la present comunicació es pretén posar fi a aquesta situació i presentar de manera conjunta i ordenada els treballs dels quals disposam avui entorn del Teatre Principal.

The main theatre in Inca is undoubtedly the most important and prominent cultural institution in the municipality. Despite this major importance and having a history of more than 107 years, none of this has contributed to a monograph study on the Theatre. The Theatre has not been a subject of study particularly favored by historiography, so we find that the information it generated has appeared late and very uneven. At the same time this is not found in a monographic or reference work, but all references made are scattered in different general works. This communication seeks to put an end to this situation and to present jointly and in an orderly manner the work we have today about the Main Theatre.
