    El concepto de patrimonio filosófico hace referencia a la influencia heredada proveniente de la filosofía y que ha moldeado las sociedades en las que estamos insertos. Nuestra forma de pensar, de entender la realidad, de comprender el mundo y de relacionarnos unos con otros es heredera directa de las ideas que a lo largo de la historia intelectual han ido progresando a través de la discusión, el análisis y la crítica filosóficas. Esta idea de patrimonio filosófico tiene dos enfoques principales que no tienen por qué estar enfrentados. Por una parte, puede servir para la creación de nuevos productos culturales para aumentar la oferta turística de un lugar y fomentar, de este modo, el crecimiento económico. Por otra parte, el patrimonio filosófico puede resultar tremendamente útil para dotar a la ciudadanía de las herramientas filosóficas adecuadas para afrontar los serios desafíos que se atisban en el horizonte de la humanidad y para reforzar los mimbres sobre los que se sostienen las democracias contemporáneas.

    The concept of philosophical heritage refers to the inherited influence of philosophy that has shaped our societies.

    The way we think, the way we understand reality is a direct heir to the ideas that throughout intellectual history have progressed through philosophical discussion, analysis and criticism. The idea of philosophical heritage has two main approaches that are not at odds with each other. On the one hand, it can be used for the creation of new cultural products to increase the tourist offer of a place and thus foster economic growth. On the other hand, philosophical heritage can be tremendously useful in providing citizens with the appropriate philosophical tools to face the serious challenges that are looming on the horizon of humanity and to strengthen the foundations on which contemporary democracies are built.
