One of the rights that form part of the so-called ARSULIPO rights (or former ARCO rights) is the right of access, defined by the General Data Protection Regulation as the right of citizens to be informed by data controllers whether they are processing personal information concerning them and, if so, what that data is and how it is being processed. In other words, every individual has the right to know how his or her personal data are used by others. Therefore, the right of access obliges data controllers to provide the data subject with all information relating to such processing.
