  Apesar do título de este trabalho fazer suspeitar que se trata de uma nova revisão dos vários tipos de construções que caracterizam o fenómeno megalítico do Nordeste da península Ibérica, na verdade o nosso objectivo de estudo é a realização de um balanço global do conjunto e, por outro lado, a revisão das principais novidades numa perspectiva dupla: 1. questionar o grau de validade dos esquemas interpretativos actualmente vigentes; 2. apresentar as linhas de investigação que determinam o futuro do megalitismo na Catalunha.

  Although the title of this work might lead one to suspect that this is a new review of the various types of constructions that characterize the megalithic phenomenon in the northeast of the Iberian Peninsula, in reality, our objective in this study is to realize a global view of the group and, on the other hand, to review the principal findings using two perspectives: 1. to question the degree of validity of the interpretive schemes currently in use, and 2. to present the lines of investigation that determine the future of megalithism in Catalunya..
