Resumen de Fenômenos de congruência semântica na representação algébrica de enunciados de problemas de duas equações lineares simultâneas

  Mathematics is characterized by processes of representations changing called conversion by Duval, but an algebraic representation of mathematical relationships stated in the problems is a frequent difficulty for students. For Duval, the main difficulties that emerge in the conversion between representations are due to semantic congruence phenomena. Based on the Theory of Register of the Semiotic Representation, we analyzed learning difficulties related to the conversion between problem statements and writing of equations for problems with rested solution on ‘a system of linear equations with two unknowns’. From this delimitation, we illustrate and discuss underlying issues of the conversion task into mathematics. Thus, we contribute to the discussions about algebraic writing to the problems’ statements of this research object. Finally, the analysis contributes to the discussions on the approach to these problems, provides an opportunity to understand some of the student’s difficulties, and points out the importance of the study centered on the coordination of semiotic registers in mathematics.

  A Matemática caracteriza-se por processos de mudança de representações denominada por Duval de conversão, porém a representação algébrica de relações matemáticas enunciadas em problemas caracteriza uma dificuldade frequente dos alunos. Para Duval, as principais dificuldades que emergem na conversão entre representações se devem aos fenômenos de congruência semântica. Baseados na Teoria do Registro da Representação Semiótica, analisamos as dificuldades de aprendizagem relacionadas à conversão entre enunciados de problemas e a escrita de equações para problemas cuja solução recai em ‘um sistema de equações lineares com duas incógnitas’. A partir desta delimitação, ilustramos e discutimos as questões subjacentes à tarefa de conversão em Matemática. Assim, buscamos contribuir com as discussões sobre a escrita algébrica para os enunciados dos problemas deste objeto de pesquisa. Por fim, a análise apresentada contribui para as discussões sobre a abordagem desses problemas, oportuniza a compreensão de algumas dificuldades do aluno e aponta a importância do estudo centrado na coordenação de registros semióticos em Matemática.
