    Esta investigación se ocupa del punto de vista de las mujeres lingüistas en el momento del surgimiento de la lingüística en Brasil como una disciplina autónoma, organizada e institucionalizada en nuestras facultades de Letras. Este enfoque nos sitúa de lleno entre los años 1960 y 1990. Para esbozar las hipótesis de investigación, este artículo intenta hacer dialogar los datos externos —el contexto de la producción científica—con los datos internos —la orientación y el corte de la investigación, por ejemplo—según la propuesta de la historiografía lingüística. Esa metodología inicia el rastreo de similitudes y diferencias entre los textos de los escritores masculinos y los textos de las escritoras de cada período. Una posibilidad de interpretar los datos reside en la división del mundo del conocimiento entre asuntos masculinos "teóricos y abstractos" y asuntos femeninos "más concretos": enfoque que es reproducido por las lingüistas "dentro" del campo de las ciencias del lenguaje.

    This research deals with thepoint of view of women linguists, at the time of the emergence of Linguistics in the country as an autonomous discipline, organized and institutionalized in our Faculties of Language and Litterature. This places us squarely between 1960 and 1990. In orderto outline the research hypotheses, this text attempts to establish a dialogue between the external data -the context of scientific production -and the internal data -the orientation and the cut of the research, for example -according to the proposal of Linguistic Historiography. This methodology initiates the tracing of similarities and differences between the texts of the male writers and the texts of the female writers of each period. One possibility of interpreting the data lies in the division of the world of knowledge between "theoretical and abstract" male subjects and "more concrete" female subjects: an approach that is reproduced by linguists "within" the field of language sciences.
