By considering a variety of sources, this article analyses the life of a newspaper called «La Punta» from its origins in 1944, in Rome, to its closure in 1947. «La Punta» was realized by a group of young Christian Democrats; the aim is to question some previous interpretations about them, by focusing on a series of debates that took place on the pages of «La Punta» between the fall of fascism and the birth of democracy in Italy. It highlights its originality and relates the activities of the Gruppi giovanili in Italy and abroad.
