El intento de la comunicación es tratar el tema de laciudad en el marco teórico de la disciplina semióticaque reflexiona sobre las condiciones materiales de lasignificación del espacio urbano. Tratamos de investigar la vertiente lúdica y turística de la ciudad de Barcelona, a través del análisis del portal web del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona (sección dedicada al turismo) yel portal de la guía Time Out Barcelona. Ambos canales, el institucional y el informal informan, al turistay al ciudadano de la programación cultural, actuandocomo difusores de información.La tesis central es que el discurso turístico y de ocioque las páginas web proporcionan, esté involucrado enel proceso de construcción de la identidad ciudadanaNos proponemos, por lo tanto, analizar la contribución de la Web 2.0 en esta operación compleja depromoción ciudadana, en búsqueda de los elementosisotópicos que los portales proporcionan y comunicanen un proceso de representación identitaria.

The porpouse of the paper is to explore the issue ofthe urbanity from a semiotics point of view in orderto treat the material conditions of the urban spacesignification. We investigate the ludic and tourist aspect of the city of Barcelona, throught the analysisof the web page of the city council (section dedicated to the tourism) and the web page of the guideTime Out Barcelona. Both sources, the institutionalas the informal inform a tourist and the citizen aboutthe cultural program, spreading the information.The central thesis is that tourist, such as the entertainment discourse, that the web pages provide, make partof the process of the construction of the citizen identity.Thereby we want to analyse the contribution of theWeb 2.0 in the complex operation of the city promotion, in the research of the isotopic elements thatthe web pages provide in the process of the identityrepresentation.
