Resumen de Lesões no joelho em uma clínica de Fisioterapia

  Introduction: The knee is one of the intermediate joints that supports large loads, being characterized by its bone instability that makes it susceptible to the development of injuries, especially ligament injuries, cartilage wear or bone fractures. Objective: To verify the knee injuries in a physical therapy clinic in the city of Montes Claros. Materials and methods: This is a descriptive research, with a quantitative, documentary, correlational and transversal approach.  The sample consisted of 58 patients from a physical therapy clinic in the orthopedic area in the city of Montes Claros-MG. The instrument used was medical records, with personal and clinical data. Discussion: The study showed the highest prevalence in Patellar Chondropathy (23) followed by bilateral Chondropathy (9) and Anterior Cruciate Ligament Lesion (5), the study showed no significant correlation between sex and age. Results: At the end records of 57 patients aged 10 to 80 years were evaluated, where it was possible to analyze that Patellar Chondropathy (23) was above the other diagnoses, followed by Bilateral Chondropathy (9), ACL (5) and Gonoarthrosis (4), In this study no significant correlation was found between sex. (43.1 ± 17.5 years) with participation of both sexes, male (50.9%) and female (49.1%). Conclusion: At the end it was possible to conclude that the most prevalent knee injuries were Patellar Chondropathy and Bilateral Chondropathy. No statistically significant differences were found regarding the prevalence of injuries between genders.

  Introdução: O joelho é uma das articulações intermediárias que suporta grandes cargas, sendo caracterizada pela sua instabilidade óssea que a torna suscetível ao desenvolvimento de lesões, principalmente ligamentar, desgaste das cartilagens ou fraturas ósseas. Objetivo: Verificar as de lesões no joelho em uma clínica de Fisioterapia na cidade de Montes Claros. Materiais e métodos: Trata de uma pesquisa descritiva, com abordagem quantitativa, documental, correlacional e transversal.  A amostra foi constituída de 58 pacientes de uma clínica de Fisioterapia na área de ortopedia na cidade de Montes Claros-MG. Como instrumento foi utilizado prontuários, com dados pessoais e dados clínicos. Discussão: O estudo mostrou a maior prevalência em Condropatia Patelar (23) seguido de Condropatia bilateral (9) e Lesão do ligamento cruzado anterior (5), o estudo não mostrou correlação significante entre sexo e idade. Resultados: Ao final foram avaliados prontuários de 57 pacientes com idade entre 10 a 80 anos, onde foi possível analisar que a Condropatia patelar (23) foi acima dos demais diagnósticos, seguido de Condropatia Bilateral (9), LCA (5) e Gonoartrose (4). Neste estudo não foi encontrada correlação significante entre sexo. (43,1 ± 17,5 anos) com participação de ambos os sexos, masculino (50,9%) e feminino (49,1%). Conclusão: Ao final foi possível concluir que as lessões no joelho de maior prevalência foram a Condropatia patelar e Condropatia Bilateral. Não foram encontradas diferenças estatisticamente significativas, no que tange as prevalências de lesões entre os sexos.
