  • Resumen
    • In its first part, the article describes the regulation of the maritime spaces of the States in accordance with International Law and, in particular, with the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. The second part deals with the delimitation of the territorial sea, the EEZ and the continental shelf between Spain and Morocco, both in the Mediterranean Sea and in the Atlantic Ocean. The author considers it unnecessary to negotiate with Morocco the delimitation of the maritime spaces between the Canary Islands and Western Sahara, given that this country does not legally exercise its sovereignty over the land territory and the adjacent waters of the former Spanish colony.
