    Frecuentemente, en educación se suele entender el concepto de autonomía con simplicidad. Esto es: capacidad de tomar decisiones sin ayuda de otros. Dos son los conceptos que configuran el eje central de este escrito: el de sociedad y el de individualización. Ambos términos, además, son presentados bajo el entendimiento de una segunda modernidad venidera donde la autonomía ha de comprenderse a través de las tensiones existentes entre el ámbito social y el individual. Tras una breve introducción, presentaré mis argumentos en dos apartados: (a) la autonomía y el ser social y (b) la autonomía y el ser ético. Por último, defenderé que, la autonomía, entendida como la consecución de la libertad absoluta, no existe. Alcanzar la autonomía sólo será posible si nos reconocemos como parte de un lugar o contexto.

    Frecuently, in education usually understand the concept of autonomy with simpli-city. This is: capacity to make decisions with no help. Two are the concepts that configure the central theme of this written: society and individulization. Both, in adittion, are presentted under the consi-deration of a future second modernity where autonomy must be understood through the tensions between the social field and the individual one. After an introduction, I will present my arguments in two sections: (a) the autonomy and the social-self and (b) the autonomy and the ethic-self. Lastly, I will defend that, autonomy, Knowledgeable as absolute freedom, doesn't exist. To reach autonomy only will be posible if we recognize ourself as part of a place or context.
