    Desde as primeiras propostas para construír un teatro galego, a cuestión educativa xogou un papel importante no proceso, e así foi que as primeiras agrupacións escénicas presentan unha denominación na que se transparenta esa vontade. Nesa dirección a historia da educación teatral en Galicia está moi vencelllada á historia do teatro e á configuración dun sistema teatral propio. Neste artigo, cunha vocación máis teorética e metodolóxica que documental, mostramos algunhas liñas de traballo pertinentes na reconstrución do que ten sido a emerxencia e progresiva consolidación da educación teatral en toda á súa heteroxeneidade.

    Since the very first proposals to set up a Galician theatre, the educational issue played an important role in the process; thus, the first theatre associations were named having that idea in mind. In that sense the history of theatre education in Galicia is linked to the history of Galician theatre and to the configuration of a theatre system of its own. This paper, based on a theoretical and methodological perspective instead of than a documentary one, intends to show some relevant threads and possible ways to rebuild what has been the emergence and progressive consolidation of theatre education in all its heterogeneity
