  Objetivo. Comprender el lugar de la familia y de las disciplinas en los estados del arte de familia en Colombia y otros relacionados. Metodología. Investigación cualitativa, hermenéutica, de tipo documental. El inicio del rastreo de los estados del arte se realizó a través de una búsqueda abierta al siglo XX, el más antiguo corresponde a 1984 y el más actual a 2015. Resultados y conclusiones. Se reflexiona acerca de las orientaciones temáticas, temporales y académicas de familia como tema de investigación en Colombia; así como las disciplinas que le dan soporte teórico- metodológico a estas investigaciones.

  Objective. To understand the place of the family and the disciplines in the state of the art of the family in Colombia. Methodology. Qualitative, hermeneutic, documentary type research. The beginning of the tracking of the state of art was made through an open search to the twentieth century, the oldest corresponding to 1984 and the most current to 2015. Results and conclusions. The thematic, temporal and academic orientations of the family as a research topic in Colombia are reflected on as well as the disciplines that give theoretical-methodological support to these investigations.
