Resumen de México y sus ciudades “Patrimonio de la Humanidad”

    México posee 14 ciudades patrimonio mundial, lo cual hace que se considere un destino turístico por excelencia, así como de gran atractivo para los visitantes. Este tipo de ciudades son lugares que cumplen con requerimientos fijados por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (UNESCO) por albergar monumentos, pinturas, artesanías, edificios, manuscritos, películas, esculturas, conjuntos históricos y arquitectónicos, colecciones de ciencia, fotografías, sitios arqueológicos u otros recursos patrimoniales de interés. El objetivo de este trabajo es demostrar la importancia de las ciudades patrimonio en México como factor de atracción de flujos turísticos. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativo-descriptiva con manejo de fuentes secundarias como artículos, libros, webs, etc., dando como resultado que este tipo de patrimonio define la identidad cultural de un pueblo, estado y/o país, además de ser un activo económico en cuanto a la recepción de divisas y creación de empleos, por lo que, en definitiva, representa un motor de desarrollo turístico y socioeconómico en general.

    Mexico has 14 world heritage cities, which makes it considered a tourist destination par excellence, as well as interesting for tourists. These types of cities are places that meet the requirements set by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) such as monuments, paintings, handicrafts, buildings, manuscripts, films, sculptures, architectural ensembles, collections of science, photographs, archeological sites, historical artifacts and photographs. The objective of this work is to demonstrate the importance of heritage cities in Mexico in relation to the displacement of tourists. A descriptive qualitative methodology was used with secondary sources such as articles, books, websites, as a result, this type of heritage defines the cultural identity of a town, state and/or country as well as being an economic asset in terms of receiving foreign currency and job creation, since it represents a development engine for tourism.
