  • The publication of the hero’s article in “Le Figaro”, which constitutes one of the stages of oblivion after Albertine’s death in La Fugitive, poses an enigma, insofar as, over and above the amazed reading of the hero dominates the ironic gaze of the narrator. The episode is based on a dizzying cross between fiction and reality, also at the confluence of childhood and maturity. The reading experience is made unique by the fact that it is a question of reading oneself, and thus of recognizing oneself little by little. The narrator considers this writing as a stepping stone towards his vocation.
