Dinámica reciente de reorganización paramilitar en Colombia

  • Durante la primera década de este siglo el país ha conocido una reorganización politico-militar del paramilitarismo. Eventos como la aparición de nuevos grupos de paramilitares y el fortalecimiento de éstos en zonas anteriormente dominadas por los que están sentados en la mesa de negociación, confirman esta hipótesis. Sin embargo, estos hechos son analizados por el gobierno colombiano como un nuevo fenómeno independiente al del paramilitarismo que está negociando un proceso de paz a partir de la firma del acuerdo de Santa Fe de Ralito.Este ensayo intenta demostrar cómo los hechos ocurridos después de la firma de este acuerdo son la continuidad del fenómeno paramilitar de la década de mediados de los noventa; para ello realiza un análisis de elementos tales como el proceso de paz, las nuevas expresiones de los grupos paramilitares y los testimonios de algunas de sus recientes víctimas.Palabras Clave: Pamilitarismo, Proceso de paz, Fuerzas Armadas, Estado, Dominación, MiedoABSTRACRECEMT DYNAMICS OF PARAMILITARY REORGANIZATION IN COLOMBIADuring the fi rst decade of this century Colombia has known a politic and military reorganization of the paramilitary forces. Events like the appearance of new paramilitary groups and its strengthening in zones previously dominated by those who are sited in the table of negotiation, confirm this hypothesis. Nevertheless, these facts are analyzed by the Colombian government as a new independent phenomenon different from that of the paramilitary that is negotiating a peace process in the agreement of Santa Fe Ralito.This essay tries to demonstrate how the facts that has happened after the signature of this agreement are the continuity of the paramilitary phenomenon of the decade of the middle of the nineties; for doing that, it does an analysis of such elements as the peace process, the new paramilitary groups expressions and the testimonies of some of their recent victims.Key Words: Paramilitary Forces, Peace Process, Armed Forces, State, Domination, Fear
