  La hernia inguinal es una patología normal, pero poco frecuente en el morueco,afectando a su potencial reproductivo. Las técnicas quirúrgicas tradicionales suelen requerirla castración del testículo afectado. En medicina humana y en veterinaria se han descritotécnicas laparoscópicas que permiten cerrar parcialmente el anillo inguinal interno,evitando así la recidiva y preservando el testículo. En moruecos sólo hay un caso descritoen la bibliografía que utilice este abordaje, empleando una técnica quirúrgica compleja querequiere un avanzado adiestramiento laparoscópico.En esta comunicación se describe un caso clínico de hernia inguinal indirecta deintestino y epiplón en un morueco que fue intervenido mediante una nueva técnicalaparoscópica que permite la herniorrafia parcial en muy poco tiempo, utilizando undispositivo comercial que evita la realización de complejos nudos intracorpóreos. La técnicase ha mostrado sumamente sencilla y eficaz, aunque sería necesario un mayor número decasos para evaluar la eficacia a largo plazo y la posible influencia sobre la actividad testicular.

  The inguinal hernia is a reproductive pathology that can happen in the ram, affectingthe reproductive potencial. Traditional surgical techniques often need the castration of theaffected testicle. In human medicine and other animal species laparoscopic techniques havebeen described allowing the closure of the inner inguinal ring, avoiding the relapse andpreserving the affected testicle. In rams, there is only one case described in the literature thatuses this approach, using a complex surgical technique that requires advanced laparoscopictraining. In this article it is described a clinical case of a ram with an inguinal indirecthernia of the intestine and omentum that was operated by a new laparoscopic techniquethat allows partial herniorrhaphy in a very short time, using a commercial device that avoidsthe realization of complex intracorporeal knots. Although it would be necessary to assessa greater number of cases to learn about the long-term effcicacy and possible influence ontesticular activity, the technique has been shown extremely simple and effective.
