  • Resumen
    • Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have transformed everyday processes, being progressively implemented in all areas of society. These changes have widened the digital divide because citizens have adapted to them unevenly. Together with the existing socio-economic and socio educational inequality, digital exclusion increases the vulnerability of citizens, especially children. For this reason, digital competence is a focus of interest at the international and national levels. Their acquisition is fundamental for the integral formation of people. In this context, the current goals of educational institutions are directed towards the training of digitally competent citizens. Teachers face the challenge of finding new ways to serve 21st century students. The theoretical review presented is the result of documentary research on two innovative initiatives for the acquisition of this key competence in the academic curriculum. The main purpose is to contribute to the transformation of the teaching and learning process by incorporating the DigiCraft methodology into the Future Classroom Lab. The research addresses these revolutionary teaching models and provides guidelines for the convergence of both methodologies in Primary Education.
