Beneficios de la fisioterapia y tratamiento de magnetoterapia en pacientes con fibromialgia.

    Introducción: La magnetoterapia, es una práctica y tratamiento realizado por fisioterapeutas mediante un aparato el cual es capaz de emitir campos magnéticos mediante imanes a diferentes frecuencias capaz de tratar diferentes patologías y en diferentes partes del cuerpo, sobre todo inflamaciones, alivio de dolores y regeneración de tejidos. Es una terapia muy utilizada y recurrida en la fisioterapia en multitud de enfermedades por su bajo índice de incidencias y efectos secundarios.

    Objetivo: Revisar la bibliografía de tratamientos con magnetoterapia en pacientes con fibromialgia, así como, evidenciar la técnica de magnetoterapia y su respectiva eficacia en pacientes con fibromialgia.

    Método: Se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática según las recomendaciones PRISMA. Se buscó en grandes motores de búsqueda de datos como, Pubmed, Medline, Pedro, Scielo, Web Of Science y Elsevier. Se usaron los descriptores: Magnetoterapia, Fibromialgia, Magnetoterapia y fibromialgia.

    Resultados-Conclusiones: Se obtuvieron 22 ensayos clínicos aleatorizados de los cuales seleccionamos 5 por cumplir los criterios de inclusión y exclusión de nuestra revisión. Los participantes de los ensayos clínicos seleccionados fueron sometidos a tratamientos de magnetoterapia para paliar los síntomas de la fibromialgia.

    Introduction: Magnetotherapy is a practice and treatment carried out by physiotherapists through a device which is capable of emitting magnetic fields through magnets at different frequencies, capable of treating different pathologies and in different parts of the body, especially inflammations, pain relief and regeneration. of tissues. It is a widely used and resorted therapy in physiotherapy in many diseases due to its low rate of incidences and side effects.

    Objective: To review the bibliography of magnetotherapy treatments in patients with fibromyalgia, as well as to demonstrate the magnetotherapy technique and its respective efficacy in patients with fibromyalgia.

    Method: A systematic review was carried out according to the PRISMA recommendations. Big data search engines such as Pubmed, Medline, Pedro, Scielo, Web Of Science and Elsevier were searched. The descriptors were used: Magnetotherapy, Fibromyalgia, Magnetotherapy and fibromyalgia.

    Results-Conclusions: 22 randomized clinical trials were obtained, of which we selected 5 for meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria of our review. The participants of the selected clinical trials underwent magnetic therapy treatments to alleviate the symptoms of fibromyalgia.
