    Heracles/Hércules, el héroe grecorromano por excelencia, presenta rasgos que lo aproximan al sumerio Ninurta y al mesopotámico Gilgamés en cuanto tipología, modus operandi y proezas. Los tres tienen ascendencia divina y median entre naturaleza y civilización, enfrentándose a seres monstruosos y abriendo nuevos espacios. Gilgamés y Heracles, además, se revelan contra sus limitaciones humanas y aspiran a la inmortalidad. En el presente trabajo se comparan distintas hazañas de Ninurta, Gilgamés y Heracles con el fin de determinar cuáles de ellas presentan características comunes, en qué medida se puede hablar de influencia y, en tal caso, el modo en que esta se ha producido.

    Herakles/Hercules, the Greco-Roman hero par excellence, has traits that bring him close to the Sumerian Ninurta and the Mesopotamian Gilgamesh in terms of typology, modus operandi and exploits. All three are of divine descent and mediate between nature and civilisation, confronting monstrous beings and opening up new spaces. Gilgamesh and Herakles, moreover, rebel against their human limitations and aspire to immortality. This paper compares different exploits of Ninurta, Gilgamesh and Herakles in order to determine which of them have common characteristics, to what extent we can speak of influence and, if so, the way in which this influence has been produced.
