Este escrito es un testimonio personal, y por tanto subjetivo, de la apasionante labor de poner en funcionamiento una nueva universidad dedicada a la educación: la Universidad Nacional de Educación (UNAE) en la República del Ecuador. Una historia mínima narrada en primera persona y que trata de evidenciar cómo el encuentro con Ángel I. Pérez Gómez supuso, para muchos, un reto a nivel intelectual.

This writing is a personal, and therefore subjective, testimony of the exciting work of setting up a new university dedicated to education: the National University of Education (UNAE) in the Republic of Ecuador. A minimal story narrated in the first person that tries to show how the encounter with Ángel I. Pérez Gómez was, for many, an intellectual challenge.
