  El turismo sostenible se cambia en una preocupación mayor de las autoridades públicas de varios países. Y al mismo tiempo es el objeto de una creciente atención de los investigadores y practicantes como indica el número creciente de los artículos sobre el tema.El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es en primer lugar,comprender el concepto de turismo sostenible y la integración del desarrollo sostenible en el turismo. En segundo lugar, presentaremos los resultados de una encuesta realizada entre una muestra de 149 turistas. A través de este estudio, podemos analizar el comportamiento de los turistas frente al turismo sostenible en la región de Souss Massa para comprender sus motivaciones y obstáculos que les impiden realizar viajes respetando los conceptos de desarrollo sostenible.

  Sustainable tourism has become a major concern for public authoritiesin various countries. Meanwhile,itisthe subject of increasing attention among researchers and practitioners as it is proven by the growing number of articles on the subject and the creation of different firms specializing in the field.The objective of this research paper is to understand the concept of sustainable tourism, and how sustainable development can be integrated into tourism. To do so, we will present the results of a survey carried out among a sample of 149 tourists. Through this study, we were able to analyze tourists’ behavior vis-à-vis sustainable tourism in the Souss Massa region in order to understand their motivations and obstacles preventing them from traveling in a way that respects the concepts of sustainable development.
