    En los últimos años, la investigación acerca del turismo y las nuevas empresas de base tecnológica - EBTs ha ido en aumento, buscando crear ventajas competitivas sostenibles en un mercado cada vez mas exigente y competido.Este trabajo tiene como propósito realizar un análisis bibliométrico de la investigación en el tema del turismo y las nuevas EBTs. La información recopilada se extrae de la colección principal de la base de datos de Web of Science y SCOPUS desde 1972 hasta 2021. Se utiliza VOSviewer para realizar los análisis de citas, co-citas, acoplamiento bibliográfico, co-autoría, etc. Se presentan avances asociados a: principales autores, revistas y países, estructura de citación general y anual, etc. Los resultados muestran una tendencia de publicación creciente a partir del 2007. Estados Unidos es el país más productivo, seguido deChina y Canadá. La fuente más productiva es “Sustainability”. El aporte de este trabajo es mostrar la evolución de este tema, para que los investigadores puedan utilizarlo a futuro en sus marcos teóricos y de investigación

    In recent years, research on tourism and new technology-based firms - TBFs has been increasing, in the search to create sustainable competitive advantages in an increasingly demanding and competitive market.The purpose of this work is to carry out a bibliometric analysis of research on the topic of tourism and the new TBFs. Data were collected from the main collection of the Web of Science and SCOPUS for the 1972-2021 period. VOSviewer were used to perform the analyses of citations, co-citations, bibliographic coupling, co-authorship, etc. This work presents the advances associated with the main authors, journals and countries, the general and annual citation structure and the development in this field. The results reveal a growing publishing trend from 2007. United States is the most productive country, followed by China and Canada. The most productive source is “Sustainability”. The main contribution of this work is that it demonstrates how this theme has evolved for researchers to use it in their theoretical and research frameworks in the future
