    En el panorama educativo que se consolida tras la proclamación de la Declaración de Bolonia, la elaboración de Guías Docentes se convierte una labor central en el proceso de planificación de la labor docente y en la propuesta de estrategias para favorecer el aprendizaje autónomo de los alumnos. El cambio de concepción de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje promovido en el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior convierte el diseño de las Guías Docentes en una oportunidad para hacer del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje una labor compartida entre profesorado y alumnado. Con el objetivo de facilitar el diseño, desarrollo y supervisión de las Guías Docentes, así como su posterior publicación en la web como instrumento para dar a conocer los contenidos de la titulación a los futuros estudiantes, se procede a la creación de la aplicación informática GDWEB. A través de esta herramienta se persigue reducir el tiempo de trabajo invertido por el PDI, de UTC y DSI en la gestión y publicación de las Guías Docentes, facilitar el trabajo de las Agencias de Calidad nacional y autonómica en el proceso de seguimiento de la implantación de las titulaciones y garantizar el control de cumplimiento de las Guías Docentes. A través de esta comunicación se pretende describir el proceso llevado a cabo en la Universidad San Jorge en el diseño e implantación de la aplicación informática GDWEB, así como presentar los resultados obtenidos tras la evaluación de su impacto en los dos semestres del curso académico 2010-2011

    In the new panorama of higher education, consolidated by the Bologna Declaration, the preparation of Teaching Guideshas become key to the processes involved in the planning of teaching activity and in the design of strategies thatdevelop independent learning in university students. The changes promoted by the European Higher Education Area(EHEA) in the understanding of teaching and learning transform the design of Teaching Guides into an opportunity todevelop the teaching and learning process into a responsability shared by teaching staff and students alike.The software application GDWeb has therefore been created not only with the aim of simplifying the design,preparation and supervision of Teaching Guides but also of guaranteeing the publication of the Guides on the Universitywebsite in order to present the contents of the course to future students. The use of this new tool will reduce time spenton the administration and publication of the Teaching Guides by teaching staff, the Qualty Assurance Unit and theDepartment of Information Systems and will also guarantee the supervision of publication of the Teaching Guideswithin the University as well as facilitating the work of the regional and national quality assurance agencies in theprocess of supervision of university courses.The objective of this paper is to describe the steps taken by Universidad San Jorge in the design and implantation of theGDWeb software application, and also to present the results obtained through the evaluation of its impact in the twoterms of the 2010-2011 academic year
