    El proyecto del futuro Parc Geològic i Miner del Solsonès – Alt Urgell, constituye un hito importante de cara al conocimiento geológico y minero de las comarcas del Solsonès del Alt Urgell y de la Noguera. Las tres comarcas se hallan situadas en la actual provincia de Lleida, aunque en tres regiones catalanas diferentes, pues el Solsonès se halla en la Catalunya Central; el Alt Urgell en la Región Pirenaica; mientras que la Noguera se halla dentro de les Terres de Lleida, dentro de la futura organización territorial de Catalunya. Geológicamente, el futuro parque geológico y minero se sitúa entre el Sistema Pirenaico y la Depresión Geológica del Ebro. Este futuro parque, se distribuye por varios municipios de las tres comarcas acabadas de mencionar. Así, en la comarca del Solsonès se distribuye por sus municipios más septentrionales: Navès, Guixers, la Coma i la Pedra, Sant Llorenç de Morunys, Odèn, Lladurs y Castellar de la Ribera, indicados de este a oeste y de norte a sur. Por otra parte, se extiende por diversos municipios meridionales de la comarca de l ́Alt Urgell: Figols i Alinyà. Peramola y Bassella.

    Asimismo, también se extiende por dos municipios de la comarca de la Noguera: la Baronía de Rialb y Tiurana, en el sector noreste de esta comarca.

    The project for the future Geological and Mining Park of Solsonès – Alt Urgell, constitutes an important milestone in terms of geological and mining knowledge of the Solsonès counties of Alt Urgell and La Noguera. The three counties are located in the current province of Lleida, although in three different Catalan regions, since Solsonès is in Central Catalunya; Alt Urgell in the Pyrenees Region;

    while La Noguera is within Terres de Lleida, within the future territorial organization of Catalunya.

    However, the future geological and mining park is located almost entirely in the Pyrenean System, in the Pyrenees. However, the southernmost sectors are located within the Ebro Geological Depression (of the Ebro Geological Basin). This future park is distributed by several municipalities of the three counties just mentioned. Thus, in the Solsonès region it is distributed by its northernmost municipalities: Navès, Guixers, la Coma i la Pedra, SantLlorenç de Morunys, Odèn, Lladurs and Castellar de la Ribera, indicated from East to West and North to South. On the other hand, it extends through various southern municipalities of the Alt Urgell region: Figols and Alinyà. Peramola and Bassella. Likewise, it also extends through two municipalities of the Noguera region: theBaronía de Rialb and Tiurana, in the northeast sector of this region.
