    Se presenta un proyecto encaminado a la creación de un parque geológico y minero, distribuido entre las comarcas aragonesas de La Litera / La Llitera y La Ribagorza / La Ribagorça, situadas en la provincia de Huesca. Este futuro parque se extiende por diversos municipios de las dos comarcas, por los septentrionales de la primera y por los meridionales de la segunda. Por otra parte, este territorio se sitúa en su mayor parte dentro de los Pirineos, salvo el extremo meridional que se distribuye por la Depresión Geológica del Ebro. En los municipios septentrionales predominan los afloramientos de materiales mesozoicos del Triásico y del Cretácico; y también cenozoicos del Paleoceno y Eoceno. En los meridionales, afloran los niveles cenozoicos del tránsito del Oligoceno al Mioceno. El objetivo fundamental para la creación de este futuro parque, es el del aprovechamiento del Patrimonio Geológico y Minero, con finalidades didácticas, científicas y turísticas; enmarcando este aprovechamiento dentro del desarrollo rural del territorio. Para poder efectuar este aprovechamiento, será necesario efectuar unas labores previas de inventariado y catalogación de este patrimonio, velando por su conservación.

    We present a project for the creation of a geological and mining park, distributed between the Aragonese counties of La Litera / La Llitera and La Ribagorza / La Ribagorça, located in the province of Huesca. This future park extends through various municipalities of the two counties, the northern ones in the first and the southern ones in the second. This territory is located for the most part within the Pyrenees, except for the southern part that covers the Geological Depression of the Ebro. Outcrops of Mesozoic materials from the Triassic and Cretaceous and Cenozoic materials of the Paleocene and Eocene predominate. In the southernmost, the Cenozoic levels of the transition from the Oligocene to the Miocene outcrop. The fundamental objetive for the creation of this future park, is the use of the Geological and Mining Heritage, with didactic, scientific and tourist purposes, framing this use within the rural development of the territory. To be able to make this attempt, it will be necessary to carry out a preliminary inventory and cataloging of this heritage, ensuring its conservation.
