Rev. Bartomeu Pascual i Marroig, dauphin of Bishop Pere Joan Campins i Barceló, founded the Biblical Museum, attentive to the provisions of Leo XIII, as a privileged tool to renovate the biblical studies in Mallorca.
The collection of cuneiform tablets stands out among the pieces in the Museum. Throughout the article, we present the museum conformation of the collection, and the first translation into Catalan of the most archaic tablet, donated by Rev. Andreu Fernández i Truyols, accompanied by the corresponding historical and archaeological commentary; probably the oldest written document that can be found in Mallorca.

Mn. Bartomeu Pascual i Marroig, delfí del bisbe Pere Joan Campins i Barceló, fundà el Museu Bíblic, atent a les disposicions de Lleó XIII, com l’eina privilegiada per renovar els estudis bíblics a Mallorca. Entre les peces del Museu, destaca la col·lecció de tauletes cuneïformes. Al llarg de l’article, presentem la formació museística de la col.lecció, i la primera traducció al català de la tauleta més arcaica, donada pel P. Andreu Fernández i Truyols, acompanyada del corresponent comentari històric i arqueològic; segurament, el document escrit més antic que es troba a Mallorca.
