    En el presente trabajo pretendemos ofrecer una panorámica de los orígenes ideológicos del catalanismo. Siendo conscientes del carácter complejo y heterogéneo de dicha genealogía, mostraremos no obstante que ciertas ideas románticas de carácter reaccionario y ciertas teorías explícitamente racialistas se encuentran muy presentes en el corpus teórico de los primeros intelectuales catalanistas.

    In this paper we intend to offer an overview of the ideological origins of Catalanism. Being aware of the complex and heterogeneous nature of this genealogy, we will nevertheless show that certain reactionary romantic ideas and certain explicitly racialist theories are very present in the theoretical corpus of the first Catalanist intellectuals.
