  La Guerra Fría modeló las culturas nacionales en los países pertenecientes a ambos bloques confrontados. España y la República Democrática Alemana no escaparon a esta lógica, a la que se sumaron dificultades específicas en sus relaciones. La forma en que la producción cultural española llegó a la RDA (canales oficiales y no oficiales) y se presentó ante sus ciudadanos —instrumentalizada al servicio del partido gobernante (SED), que ejercía un férreo control—constituye el eje fundamental de este artículo, que tendrá en cuenta también cómo afectaron el cambio de régimen en España y los cambios en las relaciones políticas España-RDA a esta transferencia cultural.

  The Cold War shaped the national cultures of the countries belonging to the two opposing blocs. Spain and the GDR did not escape this logic, to which were added specific difficulties in their relations. The way in which Spanish cultural production reached the GDR (official and unofficial channels) and was presented to its citizens -instrumentalised in the service of the ruling party (SED), which exercised tight control- is the main focus of this article, which will also consider how the change of regime in Spain and the changes in Spain-GDR political relations affected this cultural transfer.
