    Teatro de guerra (2018), largometraje basado en los testimonios de seis veteranos sobrevivientes a la guerra de Malvinas de ambos bandos, argentino y británico, es el film debut de la dramaturga argentina Lola Arias. En este artículo analizamos esta película que oscila entre el género documental y el dramático, entre el testimonio y su reelaboración performativa, desde la perspectiva transdisciplinar de los estudios de memoria. Veremos cómo el tratamiento del testimonio y el empleo de determinados recursos narrativos y escénicos contribuyen a la elaboración del duelo por las traumáticas pérdidas de la guerra, así como a la constitución de la propia identidad, individual como colectiva, desde una performatividad que parte del cuerpo, la voluntad de diálogo y, ante todo, la humanidad como universal de potencial conciliador.

    War Theater (2018) is the film debut by Argentine playwrighter Lola Arias, a hybrid feature film based on the testimonies of six veterans from both sides, Argentine and British, who survived the Malvinas war. In this article I analyse this film which oscillates between documentary and drama, between testimony and its performance, from the transdisciplinary perspective of memory studies. We will see how different uses of testimony along with various narrative and staging resources contribute to the elaboration of the mourning for traumatic losses caused by the war. The film, whose performativity starts from the body and the will for dialogue, helps to build an individual and collective identity thanks to a belief and practice of humanity as a universal of reconciliatory potential.
