  • Resumen
    • In recent years, study of modern architecture by means of architectural archives from masters from the 20th century has made this documentation effort an indispensable in-formation source, allowing us to understand and preserve the work of each author. Colombia is no stranger to this topic, so much so, that the academy has taken charge of this prestigious occupation, although its gaze is generally set on main cities such as Bogota, Cali, and Medellín. Therefore, thanks to the unpublished archive recovery related to a particular architect, it is intended to take a look at the Colombian Caribbean region, a region of a significant number of modernist works developed by young architects in the 1950s and 1960s, who could carry out a refined exercise of combining typical elements of traditional architecture with the new modern language.
