Trata-se de um texto que contém as teses escritas por Gramsci com a colaboração de Palmiro Togliatti. Elas foram apresentadas por ocasião do 111Congresso Nacional do Partido Comunista Italiano (PC I), em 23·26 de janeiro de 1926, em Lyon. O grupo politico liderado por Gramsci obteve pouco mais de 90% dos votos, enquanto que a ultra-esquerda liderada por Amadeo Bordiga, cerca de 9%. As Teses de Lyon configuram a tentativa de dotar o PCI de uma linha e de um programa baseado em dois eixos articuladores: análise da realidade italiana; e compreensão histórica dos objetivos políticos do proletariado revolucionário.
This text contains theses written by Gramsci with the contribution of Palmiro Togliatti. They were presented during the 111National Congress of the Italian Communist Party, in 23-26 of January of 1926, in Lyon. The political group led by Gramsci got more than 90% of the votes, while that the extreme-left under the leadership of Amadeo Bordiga got only 9%. The Theses of Lyon configure the attempt to endow the PCI with a line and a program based on two axles: analysis of the Italian reality; and historical understanding of the objectives politicians of the revolutionary proletariat.
