Resumen de Bases para la creación del parque geológico y minero de la Litera – Ribagorza / parc geològic i miner de la Llitera - Ribagorça (depresión geológica del Ebro, Pirineos, Huesca, Sragón)

En los últimos meses se está gestando la posibilidad de creación de un parque geológico y minero, distribuido por diferentes municipios de las comarcas oscenses de la Litera / Llitera y Ribagorza / Ribagorça. Así, en principio este territorio comprendería los siguientes municipios de la primera comarca: Baells, Baldelou/ Vall-de-llou, Camporrells, Castillonroy / Castillonroi y Peralta de la Sal; asimismo, se integrarían también los municipios de Benabarre / Benavarri y Estopiñan del Castillo / Estopanyà, de la segunda comarca. Posteriormente, otros municipios de las dos comarcas mencionas se han interesado en integrarse en este proyecto; sin embargo, en esta comunicación nos limitaremos a los municipios iniciales, acabados de mencionar.Esta idea, ha surgido en función de la geodiversidad de la zona por donde se situaría ese parque geológico y minero. En efecto, ese territorio se halla en la zona de contacto entre los materiales cenozoicos de la Depresión Geológica del Ebro y los materiales mesozoicos de las Sierras Marginales de los Pirineos; aunque la mayor parte del territorio se ubica dentro de esta segunda unidad geológica. Por otra parte, en esa zona ha habido una importante actividad minera, dedicada fundamentalmente a la minería de los minerales de manganeso. Asimismo, en la actualidad hay una importante explotación de rocas ofíticas, plenamente en activo Estas características, han motivado la existencia de un rico patrimonio geológico (con diversos LIGdistribuidos por toda la zona) y de un abundante patrimonio minero (con diversos LIPM).

In the last months, the possibility of creating a geological and mining park is being developed, distributed by different municipalities of the districts of La Litera / Llitera and Ribagorza / Ribagorça. Thus, in principle this territory would comprise the following municipalities of the first region: Baells, Baldelou / Vall- de-llou, Camporrells, Castillonroy / Castillonroi and Peralta de la Sal; likewise, the municipality of Benabarre / Benavarri and Estopiñan del Castillo / Estopanyà, of the second district, would also be integrated. Subsequently, other municipalities of the two regions mentioned have been interested in integrating into this project; however, in this communication we will limit ourselves to the initial municipalities, which have just been mentioned.This idea has arisen in function of the geodiversity of the zone where this geological and mining park would be located. In effect, this territory is in the contact zone between the Cenozoic materials of the Geological Depression of the Ebro and the Mesozoic materials of the Sierras Marginales of the Pyrenees; although most of the territory is located within this second geological unit. On the other hand, in that area there has been an important mining activity, dedicated mainly to the mining of manganese ores. Also, at present there is an important exploitation of official rocks, fully activeThese characteristics have motivated the existence of a rich geological heritage (with various LIG distributed throughout the area) and an abundant mining heritage (with various LIPM).
