Resumen de Datos para el conocimiento del patrimonio minero de la tierras valencianas, de las comarcas de la Ribera Alta y de la Ribera Baixa (València, Comunidad Valenciana / País Valencià, Sistema Ibérico y Sistema Bético)

  En esta comunicación nos centraremos en el conocimiento del Patrimonio Minero de dos comarcas contiguas de las que constituyen la provincia de València / Valencia; concretamente en la comarca de la Ribera Alta (cuya capital es la ciudad de Alzira) y en la comarca de la Ribera Baixa (cuya capital es la población de Sueca). Así, en esta comunicación haremos referencia a los trabajos de inventariado comarcal del Patrimonio Geológico y Minero, que hemos estado efectuando en esta comunidad, durante los últimos años.La comarca de la Ribera Alta, se sitúa en el centro de la Comunidad Valenciana / País Valencià. Se halla rodeada por las comarcas de la Canal de Navarrés, Costera, Safor, Ribera Baixa, Foia de Bunyol y por la Horta de Valencia. La comarca se halla situada dentro del Sistema Ibérico. También, en parte se sitúa en la Depresión Central Valenciana. Predominan los afloramientos de los materiales del Triásico, Jurásico y Cretácico; así como los del Mioceno, en las depresiones.Por lo que concierne a la Ribera Baixa, esta comarca se sitúa al centro de la Comunidad Valenciana / País Valencià, muy cerca de la capital. Se halla rodeada por las comarcas de la Safor, de la Ribera Alta y de la comarca del Horta de Valéncia (concretamente por la comarca denominada Horta Sud). La comarca se halla situada dentro del Sistema Ibérico y de la Depresión Central Valenciana. Predominan los afloramientos de los materiales del Triásico, Jurásico, Cretácico; así como los materiales del Mioceno, del Pleistoceno y del Holoceno. Estos últimos se hallan en las zonas litorales.En cuanto a las actividades mineras, cabe decir que en la Ribera Alta han sido más importantes y numerosas. Ahí, las más importantes de los últimos tiempos se relacionan con el uso de los materiales de construcción; concretamente con el aprovechamiento de los materiales arcillosos. Asimismo, cabe destacar la minería relacionada con el aprovechamiento del agua, concretamente los pozos de elevación de este líquido. Por lo que concierne a la comarca de la Ribera Baixa, cabe decir que las actividades mineras han sido más bien escasas. Sin embargo, predominan los elementos relacionados con la minería de aprovechamiento de los georecursos destinados a la construcción: materiales arcillosos y carbonatados, fundamentalmente.

  In this communication we will focus on the knowledge of the Mining Heritage of two of two contiguous regions of which constitute the province of Valencia / Valencia; specifically, in the region of the Ribera Alta (whose capital is the city of Alzira) and in the region of the Ribera Baixa (whose capital is the population of Sueca). Thus, in this communication we will refer to the works of regional inventory of the Geological and Mining Heritage, which we have been carrying out in this community, during the last years.The region of the Ribera Alta, is located in the center of the Valencian Community / Valencià Country. The outcrops of the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous materials predominate; as well as those of the Miocene, in depressions.As far as the Ribera Baixa region is concerned, this region is located in the center of the Valencian Community / Valencià Country, very close to the capital. It is surrounded by the regions of La Safor, the Ribera Alta and the region of Horta de Valéncia (specifically by the region called Horta Sud). The region is located within the Iberian System and the Central Valencian Depression. The outcrops of the Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous materials predominate; as well as the Miocene, Pleistocene and Holocene materials. The latter are found in the coastal areas.Regarding mining activities, it should be said that in the Ribera Alta they have been more important and numerous. There, the most important of recent times are related to the use of construction materials; specifically, with the use of clay materials. Also, it is worth mentioning the mining related to the use of water, specifically the lifting wells of this liquid. As regards the Ribera Baixa region, it is worth mentioning that mining activities have been rather scarce. However, the elements related to the mining of exploitation of georesourses destined for construction predominate: clay and carbonated materials, mainly
