    La vieja lucha en torno a la producción y la distribución de los bienes se abre ahora a los nuevos terrenos de la vida social, precísamente porque la información, la educación-y el consumo influyen mucho más en la producción que cualquier perspectiva de futuro. Las nuevas luchas sociales no pueden ya separarse del poder económico ni del poder político, precisamente porque en la sociedad postindustrial, los tecnócratas, al servicio de ambos poderes, "han programado", conforme a supuestos económicos y políticos, los modos de producción y de organización económica.

    The old fight around the production and the distribution of the goods is opened to newlands of the social life now, indeed because the information, the education and the consumption influence much more in the production that any perspective of future. The newsocial fights cannot already separate of the economic power nor of the political power, indeed because in the postindustrial society, the technocrats, to the service of both powers, «have programmed», according to economic and political assumptions, the ways of production and economic organization.
