Taking the phenomenological description of concrete moral experience as its starting point, this paper has two aims: first, it seeks to identify the constitutive elements of this experience, highlighting duty (understood as the consciousness of a claim) and the unnecessary reference to value. Second, the paper details the ontological conditions of that experience, insisting on the "isought" correlation and on the necessarily subjective nature of the moral agent.
