    El presente artículo intenta identificar la escritura griega de Hernán Núñez de Guzmán, el Pinciano, un humanista español del siglo XVI que en 1588 hizo donación de su biblioteca, en la que había una importante colección de manuscritos de autores clásicos, a la Universidad de Salamanca. Algunos de los manuscritos griegos del Pinciano fueron copiados de su propia mano en diferentes periodos de su vida, una circunstancia que explica las diferencias apreciables en sus rasgos y ductus, así como algunas atribuciones erróneas que se han hecho. La comparación con las glosas griegas existentes en los márgenes de los impresos propiedad del Pinciano, sus intereses eruditos, la imitación de su escritura por sus alumnos y, finalmente, las marcas de agua y otros criterios codicológicos, sirven para identificar con certeza la escritura de nuestro humanista e incluso permiten establecer una cronología aproximada de la misma.

    This paper tries to identify the Greek handwriting of Hernán Núñez de Guzmán, called el Pinciano, a Spanish humanist of the XVIth century, who bequeathed all his library with his private collection of classical manuscripts to the University of Salamanca in 1548. Some of the Greek manuscripts of el Pinciano were copied by his own hand at different periods of his life, a situation which explains the differences in their ductus and appearance and also some current mistaken attributions. The comparison with the Greek notes in the margins of Pinciano's printed books, the learned interests of our humanist, the imitation of his writing by his disciples and also the watermarks and other codicological features of the manuscripts will help us to identify with certainty the handwriting of our Humanist and even to establish a chronology.
