Resumen de Actividades pedagógicas del Laboratorio de Geología del Instituto Nacional de Ciencias y su incidencia en el desarrollo de la enseñanza de la Geología: (1907-1936).

El laboratorio de Geología del Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales realizó entre 1910 y 1936, en que formó parte de la Junta para Ampliación de Estudios e Investigaciones Científicas, una importante actividad docente en la difusión de las Ciencias Geológicas, organizando cursos y salidas al campo, en las que participaron, entre otros, numerosos docentes de Escuelas Nacionales. Escuelas Normales e Inst itutos, y preparando colecciones de minerales, rocas y fósiles que se enviaron a todos los centros de enseñanzas medias y básicas que lo solicitaron, creando una vía de contacto entre la investigación y la enseñanza universitaria por un lado y los restantes niveles de enseñanza por otro.

The Geological Laboratory of the National Museum of Natural Sciences developed between 1910 and 1936, and important teaching activity to expand the Geological Sciencies, organizing courses and field trips attended, among others, by a let of teachers from the National College, Normal Colleges and Institutes, organized the mineral rocks and fossils collections that veresent to every middle and basic teaching center that asked for them and created a contact way between the investigation and the universitary teaching and, a the other hend, all the teach levels. During this time this Geological Laboratory belonged to the "Junta para Ampliación de Estudios e Investigaciones Científicas".
