  La línea de investigación que se está realizando consiste en avanzar en el conocimiento y aplicar la técnica de la fotogrametría (imagen 3D) para obtener un modelo digital de cobertura vegetal (MDCV) del cultivo a lo largo de su ciclo productivo. Simultáneamente se mide una ortofoto (imagen 2D). Con ambas técnicas se calcula el porcentaje de cobertura vegetal (PGC). Simultáneamente, se mide la evolución de la altura del cultivo y la profundidad de las raíces, así como otros parámetros relacionados con el crecimiento del cultivo. Posteriormente, con todos los datos obtenidos, se compararán las dos técnicas de medida del PGC y su relación con el consumo de agua del cultivo.

  The line of research that is being carried out is to advance the knowledge and apply the technique of photogrammetry (3D image) to obtain a digital model of crop cover (MDCV) of the crop throughout its productive cycle. Simultaneously an orthophoto is measured (2D image). With both techniques the percentage of vegetal cover (PGC) is calculated. Simultaneously, the evolution of the height of the crop and the depth of the roots, as well as other parameters related to the growth of the crop, are measured. Subsequently, with all the data obtained, the two techniques of measurement of PGC and their relationship with the water consumption of the crop will be compared.
