  • Resumen
    • This study aims to contribute to the incipient analysis of how all the transformations linked to the digitization of the economy, which have experienced exponential growth as a consequence of the COVID-19 andemic, have specifically affected the work of women and respond to the question whether the legal -labor order is specifically addressing this phenomenon from a gender perspective or whether, on the contrary, it is limited to contemplating the impact of new technologies in the field of labor relations without making the necessary distinction between their impact on the work carried out by women and men, thus perpetuating the gender gap that already existed before the emergence of new technologies. For this purpose, the impact of new technologies on the amount of female employment, as well as on its quality, is addressed, with special mention of work through digital platforms and telework, as they are two forms of service provision booming after the COVID-19 pandemic.
