Resumen de Forum UNESCO-Universidad y Patrimonio: Red de universidades y centros de investigación para la protección y salvaguarda del patrimonio cultural

  Forum UNESCO-Universidad y Patrimonio (en adelante FUUP) surge como un protocolo de acuerdo entre la UNESCO y la Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) en 1995. Los objetivos de la red FUUP son movilizar universidades con disciplinas relacionadas con el patrimonio, apoyar actividades para documentar, proteger, conservar o divulgar el patrimonio cultural y natural, y reforzar la cooperación entre universidades, personal académico y profesionales del patrimonio y redes existentes, como ICCROM, ICOM, ICOMOS, cátedras UNESCO… La red FUUP tiene actualmente un gran alcance, con más de 3000 miembros de 129 nacionalidades, representando las cinco regiones definidas por UNESCO. Todas las herramientas de comunicación entre miembros de la red FUUP, se engloban en un Sistema de Información Web de Patrimonio (WISH: Web Information System of Heritage), FUUP es una herramienta de comunicación interactiva entre los miembros, así como también es útil para encontrar compañeros de proyectos académicos o de investigación.

  Forum UNESC – University and Heritage (hereinafter FUUH) emerges as an Understanding protocol between UNESCO and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) in 1995. The objectives of the FUUH network are to mobilize universities within disciplines related to heritage, to support activities to document, protect, preserve and disseminate the cultural and natural heritage, and to strengthen cooperation between universities, academic people and heritage professionals and operating networks such as ICCROM, ICOM, ICOMOS, UNESCO cathedra… Nowadays FUUH net has a large scope, with more than 3000 members of 129 nationalities, representing the five regions defined by UNESCO. All the tools of communication between members of the network FUUH, are included in an Information System Web Heritage (WISH: Web Information System of Heritage), FUUH is a tool for interactive Communication between the members and it is also useful for finding colleagues to do projects or researches.
